I know what the data needs to do.
Now I'm building the systems that do it.
I'm Theodor Tenhagen, a data professional making a deliberate move from analysis into engineering. Currently at Amazon's AGI-DS team and ranked in the top 5% for accuracy and speed, I've spent four years on the consuming end of data pipelines: building dashboards, automating reports, processing 120,000+ record datasets, and asking "why isn't this cleaner?" more times than I can count. That frustration turned into a skillset; SQL, Python, AWS, Databricks, Terraform and a clear direction. I'm now targeting Data Engineer I roles where I can design the infrastructure I've always depended on, with the end-user perspective most engineers never had.
